Dry ice is ideal for maintenance and preservation of products at quite low temperatures (79º C below zero). By means of a process called Sublimation, Dry Ice goes from the solid state directly to the gaseous state, producing some vapor which involves homogeneously the products to be cooled.

To have smoke effects in music shows, theater plays, advertisement, parties, use Dry Ice in a container with hot water. The white, thick smoke generated by the dry ice is easy to be produced and have surprising outcomes, enhancing your event even more.

Dry Ice Cautions:

Avoid opening the containers unnecessarily, eliminating thermal losses and decreasing the consumption of Dry Ice;
Avoid handling the product directly. Wear gloves or plastic bags;
Do not allow for children to handle the product;
Dry Ice = CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) in the solid state at -79ºC
Do not carry the ice in closed vehicles. Store it in ventilated places.

It is important that the water used to produce ice is drinkable, that is, clear, odorless, transparent and free from chemical and bacteriological contaminations. The water drinkability control must be made by accredited laboratories in order to ensure its quality. Remember that temperature is the only difference between drinkable water and ice. Federal laws set forth that the same standards for drinkable water must be used to produce ice, consequently fully controlled through analyses, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standardized Operating Procedures, and fully monitored water quality.
